George M. Grunert, MD, FACOG
Following graduation from Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Dr. Grunert did his post-graduate Internship and Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Oakland, California and University of California, San Francisco, followed by sub-specialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology. Upon returning to Houston in 1981, he co-founded the in vitro fertilization program at the Woman's Hospital of Texas in 1983. In 1987, he founded and currently directs the Assisted Reproductive Technology Program of the Obstetrical and Gynecological Associates and the Woman's Hospital of Texas. His practice encompasses the study and treatment of infertility, reproductive endocrinology, recurrent miscarriage, menstrual disorders, menopause management, and all aspects of the total care of women. His practice philosophy is to evaluate and treat all couples in an individualized, personalized, and caring private practice setting.
